Frequently asked questions
How long does plaster need to dry before I can paint?
Smooth plaster usually needs two to four weeks to cure fully, depending on layer thickness, ventilation and temperature. On handover we tell you exactly when it is safe to paint or wallpaper.
What does plastering cost per square metre?
Smooth plastering averages around €15 per m², spray work is lower and decorative render or spachtelputz is higher. The price depends on the substrate, the surface area and the finish you choose. We come and look, then give a fixed price rather than an estimate.
Do you also work on new-build projects?
Yes. New-build usually only needs a thin skim coat, while renovation normally calls for a full build-up. We assess the substrate and advise on what is genuinely needed.
Which areas do you cover?
We work throughout the Netherlands. Our base is in Sappemeer, and we travel nationwide for both private clients and contractors. Travel costs are agreed up front and stated in the quote.
